Privacy Notice
Effective 11 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information The AI Wisdom ("we", "us") collects on this website, why we collect it, who can see it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it short and plain. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@theaiwisdom.com.
1. The short version
- You can use the whole prompt library without an account.
- Accounts are only for parents and guardians aged 18 or over. Children do not have accounts, and we do not ask for a child's name, age, school or photo.
- If you create an account we collect a username, a password (which we never see) and a parent's phone number.
- We do not sell your information, show advertising, or use tracking or analytics cookies.
- You can delete your account and data yourself at any time.
2. Who this notice covers
It covers everyone who visits this website and every parent or guardian who creates an account. The AI Wisdom decides why and how the personal information described below is used, which makes us the "data fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
3. What we collect
When you create an account
- Username that you choose. Please do not use your child's full name.
- Parent's phone number, including the country code. We do not verify it by sending a text message.
- Password. Your browser scrambles your password (using a one-way process called hashing) before it is sent, and we scramble it again before storing it. We never receive or store the password itself and cannot read it. This also means we cannot tell you your password if you forget it.
- Consent record: the date and time you accepted our Terms of Use and this Privacy Notice, and which version you accepted.
When you use your account
- Which upcoming features you have upvoted.
- A sign-in cookie, so you stay logged in (see section 8).
For security
- Your IP address, plus a count of recent failed log-ins and sign-ups, kept for up to 24 hours so we can slow down password guessing and automated sign-ups.
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes every request to the site and may keep technical logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for delivery and security.
What stays on your device
- Anything you type into the prompt library (for example, an equation you put into a prompt) and the prompts you copy stay in your browser. We do not receive them.
What we do not collect
- No child's name, age, grade, school or photo. No email address unless you write to us. No payment details. No precise location.
4. Why we use it
- To create and run your account and let you vote on upcoming features.
- To contact you about your account, or to tell you when a feature you voted for launches.
- To keep the site secure and stop abuse, spam and bots.
- To keep a record that you accepted our Terms and this notice, and to meet legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you tick the box on the sign-up form. We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not build advertising profiles.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We use these service providers to run the site:
- Cloudflare hosts the website, stores our database and provides the "Turnstile" security check shown when you sign up or log in. Turnstile checks that you are a real person and may read technical information from your browser to do so.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts. When a page loads, your browser asks Google for the font files, so Google can see your IP address.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
6. Where it is stored and for how long
Account information is stored in Cloudflare's database, which runs on servers that may be outside India.
- Account information (username, phone number, password hash, consent record, votes) is kept until you delete your account.
- Sign-in sessions last up to 30 days or until you log out.
- Security records (IP address and attempt counts) are deleted within 24 hours.
- When you delete your account, we remove it from our database straight away. Our database provider may keep short-term recovery copies for a limited period, no longer than 30 days, after which they are deleted automatically.
7. Your rights and choices
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- Ask for a summary of the information we hold about you and who we share it with.
- Correct or update your information. To change your phone number, email us.
- Erase your information. Log in, open your account (click your name at the top of the page) and choose "Delete my account". This removes your account, phone number and votes.
- Withdraw your consent at any time. Deleting your account does this.
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or cannot do so yourself.
- Make a complaint (see section 11).
Email hello@theaiwisdom.com for anything you cannot do yourself. To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm details that only the account holder would know. We aim to reply within 30 days.
8. Cookies
- aiw_session is a strictly necessary cookie that keeps you logged in. It is set only when you log in or sign up, cannot be read by scripts on the page, and expires after 30 days or when you log out.
- The Cloudflare Turnstile security check may use technical storage to tell people from bots.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or social-media tracking cookies.
9. Children
Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over who are the parent or legal guardian of the learners they support. Children can use the free prompt library without an account, with a parent's guidance. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account or sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Security
The site uses HTTPS, we store only scrambled versions of passwords, we limit repeated log-in attempts, and we use a security check to block bots. No online service can promise perfect security, so please choose a password you do not use anywhere else. If you find a security problem, please tell us at the email address below.
11. Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a complaint about how we handle your information, email hello@theaiwisdom.com with the subject "Privacy" or "Complaint". We will acknowledge your message within 7 days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, once it is operating, as provided in the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change affects how we use your information in a way that needs your consent, we will ask for it again.
